The Perfect Plan
I was giving him a second chance. Not sure why, but I was. That was a mistake. For the second time in as many chances, Carmona blew another save. This one was more incredible then the first. With two outs in the bottom of the ninth, Fausto proceeded to hit Doug Mirabelli and Alex Gonzalez which put two men aboard. Youkilis then walked on a full count with a pitch that wasn’t near the plate, bringing up Loretta. He then ripped one of the green monsters putting the cap on another pathetic evening for the Tribe.
Carmona looked helpless. The minute he hit Mirabelli, you knew it was over. His eyes turned to saucers, he lost all control, and his confidence was non-existent.
This team is an absolute mess.
Along with a closer who can’t close. We have a rookie third basemen without a hit, a new second basemen batting .100, and a lineup full of platoon players. It is officially a train wreck.
This must be one hell of a plan.
